Missions Check Up

…How healthy is your church in missions?       David Mays

It is difficult to think outside the box when you are in it.  And it is difficult to evaluate the health of your church when it comprises the great majority of your church experience.

A number of books have been written about church health.  However, most of these books give little attention to the health of the church in regard to its major mission, the global spread of the good news of Jesus.

In this document, all the church’s efforts to reach and minister to people across cultural barriers and all the work to enhance and sustain those efforts are called “missions.”

The following is intended to help you diagnosis the health of your church in regard to missions and to consider some possible next steps.
